Who we are

LegalGuard is a business consultancy technology platform for Malaysian SME owners, operated from A-20-4 Northpoint Offices, Mid Valley City, 59200 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. LegalGuard is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

What we collect

Contact details you submit, such as your name, business name, email address and phone number.

Information you provide in a risk check, a contract upload or a WhatsApp enquiry, including documents and the facts you describe.

Basic technical data such as browser type, device type and pages visited, used to keep the site working and to understand usage.

How we use it

To generate and deliver your risk report or contract review, to respond to your enquiry, to provide the services you request, and to send service updates you have agreed to receive.

Where a matter requires legal advice, we refer you to an affiliated Malaysian law firm as a separate step. Your information is shared for that referral only with your consent, and any resulting engagement is governed by that firm's own terms.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that host our platform or process documents on our behalf, and only as needed to deliver the service.

We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010 you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consent to marketing at any time.
